Mrs. VanCleave's Class

 This is a daily folder that students will take home.  It contains their behavior chart as well as their "I can" list for their homework.  The behavior chart should be signed daily.  If your child has had to sign "the book" for breaking on of the classroom/school rules, there will be a note about it in the folder as well.  The note should be signed and brought back to school. 

 

 

 

 This folder will come home on Wednesdays.  It contains all of their graded work, which should be looked over together, then taken out and kept at home. Parents need to sign the paper indicating that they have looked at the contents of the folder.  There will also be important items such as the lunch menu, PTO events, and picture announcements.  

 

 

 

 These are the school-wide expectations.  They help students be their very best in any given situation inside and outside of the school environment.  They are to be safe, be respectful, and be responsible.  

 

The 3 B's continue into the third grade classroom's and are more specific in each room.  To be safe in the classroom students must keep their hands and feet to themselves, use walking feet, and have 4 on the floor (regarding the 4 legs on their chair). To be respectful students must be listening to speaker by giving 5, use kind words, and treat others as you would like to be treated.  Finally, to be responsible students must do their job, and take care of themselves.
